It’s been a rough month for us all, and perhaps our world will never be quite the same. Remember 911 ? We made a lot of changes in the way we live following that event, mostly for the good ! I believe this will also impact the way we live our lives, care about each other, and realize how important others are in our lives.
Now that you have been home for at least 1 month, how do you like your surroundings? This really emphasized how important it is to like where your living… Right? I’ve noticed a lot of home improvement, not only in my own place, but others as well!
I do believe Real Estate just hit a pause button, and as soon as we are allowed to show homes again, there will be a high demand! Also I believe there will be an uptick in homes for sale, which will help stabilize the supply and demand issue we have had the past couple of years.
Builders are offering higher incentives to move their inventory, always signifies to me that they have slowed down in sales , understandably. Please take your Realtor with you, when buying a new home, we represent your side, the builder contracts and sales staff work in favor of the builder, it’s best if you have someone who is YOUR advocate. Often times we can negotiate a better deal on your behalf, and remember the builder (seller) pays the Realtor. At Walter Realty and most Brokerages the buyer is not charged for real estate services, so why not have your own representative?
The government seems to be doing all it can to help everyone stay afloat, but let’s face the facts, we have all felt an impact with this pandemic. My heart goes out to those who have lost love ones, and who had to battle this virus. A heartfelt Thanks to all the nurses , doctors, hospital workers, first res-ponders who have been on the front lines of this, I pray it ends soon.
If it ends soon, I think we can recover, but the longer it last, the more likely it will impact real estate. I will keep you posted. Until then Stay safe and healthy, I wish you all the best, keep the Faith, better days ahead!
